Telegram introduces social audio voice chats
Messaging service Telegram launched a social audio platform called Voice Chats 2.0 which allows for live voice chats with unlimited participants. Somewhat similar to Clubhouse or Twitter Spaces, Voice Chats 2.0 is an expansion of the Voice Chats option introduced in December that was limited to private Telegram groups rather than the more public channels. Intel is working on real-time language filter for online games
A new voice AI tool the company is working on will filter out offensive and abusive language during in-game voice chats. As seen in the video unveiled at Intel’s GDS showcase, the new Bleep program applies the AI on Intel PC chips in real-time to detect and remove any slurs uttered by one player before another hears it.
